TechHuman Podcast Trailer
Whether we love technology or are suspicious of it; it is increasingly hard to avoid. Technology is reaching ever further into our lives, our homes, our relationships, our travels and our workplaces. TechHuman.org is keen to understand the impacts of those technologies – and to find and promote ways that we as human beings can live well with technology.
We are excited to announce a new podcast, where I will talk with some fascinating people, including my TechHuman co-founder, Professor John Wyatt, who bring their own perspectives and expertise at the intersection of human life, technology and faith. We will explore what the technology revolution means to us, how they see it enhancing, threatening or damaging the world we live in. We will discuss how we can seize the opportunities, minimise the threats and overcome any harms that have emerged.

Hi, I'm Jonathan Ebsworth, one of the
Jonathan Ebsworth:founders of the tech human.org website. Whether we love
Jonathan Ebsworth:technology or are suspicious of it, it is increasingly hard to
Jonathan Ebsworth:avoid technologies reaching even further into our lives, our
Jonathan Ebsworth:homes, our relationships, our travels and our workplaces. Tech
Jonathan Ebsworth:human.org is keen to understand the impact of those
Jonathan Ebsworth:technologies, and to find and promote ways that we as human
Jonathan Ebsworth:beings can live well with it. We're excited to announce a new
Jonathan Ebsworth:podcast where I will talk with some fascinating people,
Jonathan Ebsworth:including my TechHuman co founder Professor John Wyatt,
Jonathan Ebsworth:who bring their own perspectives and expertise at the
Jonathan Ebsworth:intersection of human life, technology and faith. We will
Jonathan Ebsworth:explore what the technology revolution means to us how they
Jonathan Ebsworth:see it, enhancing threatening or damaging the world we live in,
Jonathan Ebsworth:we will discuss how we can seize the opportunities minimise the
Jonathan Ebsworth:threats and overcome any harms that have emerged.
Jonathan Ebsworth:We start from an orthodox Christian perspective that
Jonathan Ebsworth:humankind is created uniquely in the image of God, and that our
Jonathan Ebsworth:humanity was designed for embodied relationships. Our
Jonathan Ebsworth:conversation should be relevant to those of any faith or numb,
Jonathan Ebsworth:who are interested in a better understanding of the impact of
Jonathan Ebsworth:technology on our lives today and in the future. We want to
Jonathan Ebsworth:illuminate technology influenced areas of human life and
Jonathan Ebsworth:business. We will weigh up some of the benefits and risks we see
Jonathan Ebsworth:and try to highlight practical ways to live well. We're also
Jonathan Ebsworth:interested in uncovering parts of society where people or
Jonathan Ebsworth:groups are losing out as a result of technology advances,
Jonathan Ebsworth:particularly those whose voices are not generally heard. At the
Jonathan Ebsworth:heart of our conversations will be two intertwined themes. What
Jonathan Ebsworth:does it mean to be fully human? And how can we live well in an
Jonathan Ebsworth:increasingly digital world?
Jonathan Ebsworth:I'm looking forward to you joining me and my guests in the
Jonathan Ebsworth:coming weeks. In the meantime, you might want to check out www
